Background check on a shotgun in VT?

I don't know if VT uses the federal background check or not. If VT does, they are typically instant. Sometimes it takes a few hours if they are having computer problems or you are a close match to someone else. If they don't decline it with in either 3 or 5 business days, you win by default.
