Seagate free agent external hard drive?

okk i bought a seagate free agent external hard drive and i synced it with my windows xp and i want to transfer some of the files to my windows ME. Window's ME shows that the software is on the computer but i can't get the acutal program to show up on my computer. PLEASE HELP
